zypl.ai, a pioneering AI company applying synthetic data for AI decisioning in financial services, today announced USD 2 million in strategic investments at a valuation of USD 80 million from Khofiz Shakhidi, a leading financial services investor. The investment marks a significant milestone in zypl’s growth trajectory and underscores deepening confidence in the company’s AI platform and rapid global expansion.

Mr. Khofiz Shakhidi is a major shareholder of Alif Capital Holdings, a leading fintech company with operations in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan. A Monaco-based entrepreneur, Mr.Shakhidi brings extensive experience in venture capital, private investment, and financial services. He is a director of Jefferson Capital Ltd. and began his professional career in London’s banking sector. In 2000, he joined Crédit Agricole Indosuez, and in 2002, he became a director of BSI Bank. He held executive positions at several financial institutions prior to setting up a private investment portfolio.

Investment from Mr. Shakhidi signals growing recognition of zypl’s role as a leading generative AI company at the intersection of synthetic data, financial modeling, and AI decisioning. “We are proud to support zypl’s rapid growth as a category-defining company applying synthetic data for financial AI modelling. zypl.ai has developed zGAN, a proprietary generative AI model focused on outlier synthetic data that optimizes AI performance under macro volatility. The zGAN model is embedded on Lucid, zypl’s no-code AI platform enabling financial institutions to autonomously build and deploy AI models across credit, fraud detection, collections, marketing and other use cases. The company was launched at Stanford University and currently serves 60+ financial institutions across 20 markets worldwide. zypl’s investors include Prosus Ventures, Carbide Ventures, Plug & Play and others.
