About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer / Technical Product Manager to become the face of our products for clients in Uzbekistan. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of technology, sales, and product management: you will conduct demos, manage client relationships, and translate business needs into technical requirements for the ML team.
Responsibilities
Deliver technical demonstrations of zypl.ai products (Lucid, zadmin) to financial institutions
Manage the client pipeline: from initial contact to contract signing and onboarding
Gather and formalize client requirements: translate business tasks into technical specifications (use cases) for the ML team
Cultivate relationships with key clients and partners (including UZCard)
Prepare commercial proposals, presentations, and technical documentation for clients
Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in Uzbekistan and Central Asia
Provide regular reports to headquarters on pipeline status and revenue
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities
Requirements
2+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or product management
Understanding of machine learning and data analytics fundamentals (you don't need to write code, but you must grasp the concepts)
Experience working with financial institutions (banks, MFIs, payment systems) - a strong plus
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to structure requirements and produce technical documents (PRDs, use case specs)
English: Upper-Intermediate or higher (regular calls with headquarters and international clients)
Experience with CRM systems
Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
Experience selling SaaS or AI products
Knowledge of credit scoring, risk management, or fraud detection
An existing network in the Uzbek financial sector
Experience working in international teams or joint ventures
Technical background (IT, mathematics, economics, or finance)
